Once upon a time in a place called ascalon and shiverpeak arenas you could use elites, and then all the noobys complained to the big bad anet who made elites unusuable in the arenas. The end. That's how it is, I believe elites should be aloud again but make them less powerfull cause of the low levels.

Griefing those arenas wasn't funny when people actually played them. Now, no one plays them, so the fact that you still want to grief them with your max armor + elite skillbar <lvl10 char is even more pathetic.

Gonna go with "NO!" on this one. Elite skills & max armor ruined those arenas way back when. And there's no point in restoring one of the reasons why they lost their popularity in the first place.

I really see no point in allowing elite skills in arenas for low leveled new players.

Last time I played those there were Elite skills used a lot, they were full of griefing and complete BS. So I never joined that nonsense again. I didn't even know they removed them. So ofcourse:

I'd add even more:
bring back level requirements to Armors! I kept saying removing them was a baad idea since they did that.
(put the requirements on newly crafted armors only, not to mess with stuff players already got. Low levels with max armors will level up in time anyway)

Than I'd suggest playing a noob arena for once and imagine your puny little Monk getting ganked by Warriors with max armor and [Eviscerate]. It's not fun playing with Elites in those arenas.

Since the introduction of skill tomes, bringing Elites to those arenas made them way too imbalanced.

Does anyone still play in those Arenas? I'm fairly new to the game and have been playing PvE exclusively. I decided I wanted to try PvP out the other day and went into Shiverpeaks Arena, hit "Enter Battle" and watched the countdown timer reset for about 5 minutes. I went back a few more times at different times of the day with the same results. There were people in the Arena area, but it looked to me they were using it as nothing more than a place to chat with less spam.
